Now I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for the regular rotation due to sound quality but I believe it's a must-listen, at least spin this a few Deadicated times.

4-15-69 @ The Music Box, Omaha, Nebraska... not a very popular show (at least I don't hear forumites mention it often)cuz it's an early era AUD (?) when there's so many great SBDs available for '69, but it's actually a pretty dynamic recording with all the instruments well represented - even TC!

This Dark Star changed my life. There are some jams in here that I'm not sure I've ever heard in any other DS. At 2:20 the taper tells the girl to HOLD ON THERE as Jerry begins setting up the pre verse jam, which unfolds nicely with Jerry fluidly stoking the melodic fires from all sides. At 4:40 we get a nice droning jam with some find work from TC and Bob chiming in. But the particular jam that gets me every time begins at 5:27 and lasts for a little over 30 seconds just before the verse riff. For the rest of the song, I'm just in complete bliss.

This show is a force of nature. HEAVY shit right here. Yeah, how bout the whole TIFTOO suite > Dark Star. You won't regret it!
